Specialist Groups

An Introduction to the Specialist Groups under the HTA umbrella

The HTA is pleased to be able to facilitate, under the HTA umbrella, a number of industry associations. These include:

• The Growing Media Association (GMA) 
• The HTA Tree and Hedging Group (THG)
• The HTA British Rose Group (BRG)
• The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL)
• The Association of Liner Producers (ALP)
• The Association of British Conifer Growers (ABCG)

The HTA provides executive support for all the groups, co-ordinating PR, marketing and technical events and activities as well as member communications. Members of specialist groups do not pay a premium beyond their HTA membership and therefore enjoy a high level of support through both the HTA and their particular representative group. The HTA also administers the Midland Regional Growers (MRG) group.
